With yesterday's emotional and historic election of Barack Obama, my hope is that he can not only bring together a fragmented country, but a disintegrating world as well. After eight years of passive-aggressive American foreign policy, I'm hopeful that President-elect Obama can reach out to the world in ways his predecessor would not.
